I am still very ill, but because of today’s Valentine’s brunch I braced myself up, took a lot of medicines, put on my most beautiful makeup, the Hermès scarf my husband gave to me as a present and my Tahiti pearl earrings. It was very hard for me to get up early in the morning and I had to fight my bad condition. But retrospectively I can say that it was absolutely worthwhile.
We had to drive around one and a half hours to get to the restaurant and I chose a comfy but luxurious and elegant outfit and I was dressed en pointe. Most part were people with very good jobs, they were well dressed and had an excellent behavior. And with well-dressed I don’t mean wannabe-rich people who buy some label items to give a fake impression of theirselves. The atmosphere was cozy and casual, but elegant and beautiful.

For our this year’s Valentine’s celebration we chose the brunch at Alexander Herrmann Restaurant. For those who read my diary for a longer time know, that last year we took a Valentine’s Day dinner at Käfer Schänke and about the Käfer Schänke I wrote an article here in my diary. The Alexander Herrmann Restaurant is known for a Michelin star and the Bohemian truffle. The Bohemian truffle is a delicacy from Franconia. As I read about this delicacy, I knew, that I have to go to this restaurant.
Some essentials of the brunch menu

The brunch took around four hours and the selection of food and meals was really huge. The food was delicious and we paid 160 Euro. The staff was very friendly. It was a great joy to be part of the Alexander Herrmann Restaurant Valentine’s brunch.
