After an incredible bad weather situation for several days the sun comes out again and I was very happy to enjoy a beautiful day. And because of all the good vibes around me I decided to write about my makeup room because my makeup room has a special meaning to me. First, I never had a room only for putting on my makeup and second it’s a room beautifully decorated like spa area. Already some weeks ago I wanted to show you one of my favorite places in my apartment, but as always I had to write about other stuff first. Maybe you remember my post about the golden moments with Mika Harmony. There I told you for the first time about the very talented painting artist Mika and our friendship through Instagram. Today I want to show you where I have put her beautiful painting and I also tell you about her adorable and colorful blog. Her website is called www.mikaharmony.com and from there you get to here blog. On her blog you can watch videos of behind the scenes how she is painting her art pieces and you can read every thing about events and where she exhibits her art pieces. For so long time I wanted to visit the gallery where you can look at her art pieces and I really hope that I can go back soon to California and see all of them. Every time I want to dream of Maui and of beautiful islands far away from here I look at Mika’s Instagram feed and her blog. Her paintings give me so much positive energy. And because of all the good vibes I decided to put her painting in my makeup room where I love to spend my time every day so much. The little seahorse you see on my photos smiles at me and then I smile too.
And now I tell you what I bought for my little spa area. A long time I looked out for the perfect makeup box and finally one month ago I found it at Ikea. Now, it is very easy to find a place for every single makeup tool and piece I use. You can put two of these makeup boxes in each drawer of the Ikea dresser. Sometimes I put fresh flowers on the dresser because of the good scent and because it looks very nice in the bathroom. For my makeup room I chose quiet and calming colors like white, fir green, black, gold and pastels. I like to spend the first minutes after awaking in a relaxing ambiance. A big window let the sun light up the whole room. I love to take a look out of the window and to let my eyes wander over the buildings and out to the nature. It’s a feeling of freedom eternity.
Next time I celebrate my first blog anniversary, so lovelies, don’t forget to visit my blog on Sunday. I will celebrate my first year blog anniversary with a huge blog post about the last year of blogging with all my friends I met through my blog and through social media.
